During the stock price run-up in 2001-2003, the coffee and a doughnut
cost at the local KK kept pace with the stock price. I haven't been
back to see if the lowering of the price of a snack has kept pace with
the downturn.

If you leave a tip at a KK, the employee is required to place it in
the cash register. The penalty for not doing so is dismissal.
